A Child’s Voice and Child Advocacy Africa were conceived out of earnest efforts to stand up for the rights of children and vulnerable families in Africa. We seek to empower the vulnerable, advocate for positive social reform, and tackle issues surrounding fraudulent adoptions, abuse and trafficking.

Neither organization was designed to employ its leadership; we do what we do as volunteers. As a team, we are an organic movement of passionate individuals giving our time, energy and selves, with the hope and prayer that these efforts will actually make a difference for voiceless children.

We seek to keep our budget as modest as possible, while recognizing that there are many costs involved with running a successful mission. Due to the nature of our work, we rely upon the availability of a skilled team of social workers, investigators, and the tools we need to do this job well. A copy of the current budget is available upon request.

Since both organizations formed in early 2012, independent annual audits will begin in 2013 for fiscal year 2012. Public posting of these reports will occur at the time of auditing. In the interim, we remain transparent and welcome legitimate inquiries regarding budgetary and income information. Please contact us if you have questions.

A Child’s Voice is nonprofit corporation registered in the state of Michigan, USA, and it is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization – donations to which are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Child Advocacy Africa is financially supported through fundraising initiatives  A Child’s Voice. One of our financial goals is for the activities of Child Advocacy Africa to be completely, or almost completely, funded through self-sustainable means in coming years. Until that time comes, Child Advocacy Africa is reliant upon donor giving, craft sales, and other fundraising initiatives.

At the present time, neither organization has acquired any corporate sponsors or grants for this work. We do seek like-minded organizations, individuals and corporations to invest in this important work on behalf of Uganda’s children. Please contact us if you have further questions about partnering with us in a particular way.

Together we can speak up for those who have no voice!
